ABOUT ME: Hello! I'm Cassie Wang, a nature illustrator and graphic designer based in Durham, NC, where I live with my partner and our large menagerie of critters.I enjoy working across a large spectrum of mediums, and have experience in illustration, graphic design, web design and development, video editing, and animation.
I hold a BSc from Cornell University where I studied business with a focus in marketing and analytics. However, after working a couple business roles, I found myself drawn back to my family roots in biology. Both of my parents, my grandparents, and several of my aunts and uncles all worked or still do work in biological research, so you could say it's in my blood.
Through combining my passion for illustrating and designing with nature with my background in marketing and analytics, I aim to help others discover the wonders of the natural world and communicate the importance of scientific research.
